Gain Capital

We were appointed by the principle contractor Kinetic Workplace Design – a longstanding client – to carry out all electrical services in the new office space for Gain Capital at St Katherine’s Dock. This was our third project with KWD for Gain following two large refurbishments of their existing offices in the financial district since 2015.

Our scope of work comprised the following: 

• New underfloor Electrack power and floor box installation.
• Small power for mechanical services, tea point and AV supplies.
• Dedicated distribution board for comms room installation.
• Complete new Cat 6 data network installation with UPS backup.
• Adaptation of the existing Simmtronic intelligent lighting system.
• Installation of extensive feature lighting.
• Modification and addition to the existing addressable fire alarm system.
• Leak detection system for tea point and comms areas.
• Extension and reconfiguration of existing access control system to be administered via the clients network.
• Relocation of existing and installation of new AV equipment and associated cabling.
